Dr. Iris Mowgood
Assistant Professor of Physics
and Program Director of DHSI STEM Grant
My research focus is on modeling superconducting elements (wires, rings, diodes) via the set of Ginzburg-Landau equations utilizing COMSOL Multiphysics and automating of model using MATLAB and in data science applied to superconductivity databases. My work experience has been in teaching university level physics from conceptual to calculus based and as Program Director of the Valerosos y Curiosos HSI STEM Grant at Concordia University Irvine.
